The City of Vancouver and Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) finally reached an agreement for the city to purchase the Arbutus corridor on the Westside of Vancouver for $55 million. Thus ending their long time dispute. The city is planning on removing the train tracks on this 9 kilometre track of land running from Marpole to False Creek, then building greenspace for bicycles and pedestrians.
